Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing transactions, and for realizations. Its approach to evaluating an opportunity is rigorous, intimate, and disciplined.
Operations
Due diligence · Transitions · Oversight
Engaged during diligence, responsible for the transition after close, and for continuing oversight of each portfolio company thereafter.

Coordinates the M&A and Operations teams through a disciplined, structured process, and holds the investment decision.

Pinnacle believes that autonomous and empowered management is critical to the long-term success of any business.
Management teams at Pinnacle’s portfolio companies possess full decision-making authority over their businesses. They are also held accountable for day-to-day operations and for executing the strategic plan they own.
That combination — authority and accountability in the same hands — is the arrangement the firm considers non-negotiable. It is also why the operations team’s role is oversight and support rather than management by proxy.
